It's been a while since my last newsletter. I just don't know where the time goes.

But here it is, better late than never.

The catches have been very random with long periods of catching nothing which is either awesome news or that the little horrors are getting smart......

.Johan and I have refreshed the bait in the traps regularly thinking it might be that but it made no difference. We have over the last six months notice that the traps are catching again so hurrah.!!!!!

Liz from the Hump Track tried baiting a trap with Red Jelly beans and yup you guessed it. The very next couple of days a jelly bean eating stoat bit the dust. YAY

Thanks to all our sponsors, without you this project would just not been possible. Thanks to the staff on the Tuatapere Hump Ridge track for your trap checking and sending the catch numbers to me.

Please check out our impressive list of sponsors.and our traps catch totals, on our web page under Traps and Stoats is the Good Guys List.

I hope my next news letter won't be a year away, (Fingers crossed)
