November 10 Trapping report

November 2010 – Stoat Trapping Newsletter

Hello all.

It’s been awhile since my last news letter. No excuses I’ve just been waiting till we started catching something in the river traps. This hasn’t happened yet.

Johan tells me this is good news but it must be my killer instinct coming out in me I just love killing rats and stoats….

We have another group of ten traps to go out along the South Coast track, thanks to Aitkin Joinery and AJ Saville Builders.

These traps will take the trap line all the way to Port Craig and beyond. YIPPEE. I have snuck a couple of traps out on the Port Craig side and are waiting for my ducks to line up to get the great guys from Alpine Choppers to drop them in. Save me carrying and walking. I know lazy bones…

We also have a few new sponsors coming on board.  One is all the way from America. Instead of the normal Christmas present to her friends in NZ. Marsha has sponsored 3 traps as presents. Good on you!!!

And thanks to all of you that are sponsors of traps. Without you caring people this stoat trapping wouldn’t be happening.

I am going to do something different with the telly’s this time I’m going to list the traps that caught stoats and rats. I am still going to list the good guys role call also.

Happy reading, or if your like me you might wish to see a few more evil predators on the telly’s.
